Fabrics

Fabric is the icing on the cake of a good structure on a chair.  Picking the right fabric is fun, it can be overwhelming but that's where we can help!

Think about the room your piece sits in. Is it going to be a stand out feature? How well used will the chair be and by who? Are you looking for a sustainably made fabric?

We can guide you on which fabrics will be appropriate for the age/use of the piece and most importantly the right one for you.

Linwood fabric book

Bute

Bute still manufacture on the Isle of Bute in Scotland.  They produce beautiful wool based textiles for upholstery sometimes on collaboration with designers like Tom Dixon.

Versatile textiles in a wide variety of textures and colours to knock your socks off.

Wool is a natural product, hard wearing and inherently fire retardant whats not to love!
